Default wiring electric fans with relay and toggle

hey guys need some help wiring electric fans in my 69 velle. i have a bosch relay, a simple toggle switch and the dual electric fans to hook up. can anyone tell me or show a diagram of how this is hooked up. Also is 1 relay enough or do i need 2? I need this as simple as possible like 30 goes to ..... 87 goes to ....85 goes to...86 goes to... thanks for all the help in advance.

You need to use 2 relays, one for each fan. There are many ways to wire fans, you can have them come on automatically, manually or a combo of both.

thanks for the quick reply greg u seem to be the electrical guru here . i just have one more qustion then. How do i wire both relays to one toggle switch. i say they are dual fans(but they are in one plastic shroud). they have only 1 power and 1 ground wire to run both fans. So does the 2 relays still apply?

Here's how i wired my taurus dual speed fans NOTE: There is a 12V switched to the SPDT that isn't shown on the diagram.

Easy. Relays can be switched (turned on or off) by putting the toggle switch either on the power side (86, shown in the pic) or the ground side (85). Simply branch power after the toggle to the relays (86) or bring all the grounds from the relays to one side of toggle, the other to a good ground. Since this is the switched side of the relays, power draw is very low, like 1/8 of a amp per relay.

How much power to the fans pull? If you don't know this what make and model are the fans.
