Default How do the fuel lines disconnect at the intake on a 5.3?

Trying to get the intake off of my 2000 GMC 5.3 - How do the fuel lines disconnect? There is also a small line at the front & center towards the top of the intake with a plastic line going to it that has some kind of clip, How does that come apart?
Is there a way to get these things apart without spending $$$ on some kind of tool that I will use once?
Thanks.
LK

lk,
Not sure if it is the same as my 5.7 vortec, if it is you just push in on the hose then depress two tabs to release it. There is a special tool, but I am pretty sure I did mine without it. They can get kind of corroded and stick.

I don't see any tabs on it, There was a metal clip over the line that pops off but I don't see what is holding it.

Yes, you need a release tool, get one at your local Napa store. They have several sizes.
