Default Recommended "tire dollies" for rolling car around in garage?

I was just wondering if anyone used these, and if so which ones you would recommend. I'm referring to the metal plates with 4 casters on each corner, you set one tire on each dolly.

I don't want to leave the car on them, but they would be great for rolling either car out of the way.

Thanks!

We use these and they work great. You can usually get a cheap set for about $100 or less. When they are not under a car we use them to store extra transmissions.

Use them and love them. I put a lot of things on them when they are not under the car. Got some a Harbor Frieght for around $100, had one caster break after 4 years of hard use. Hit the lip between the driveway and gargage with car on it and the caster broke, lip was 1/2" with caster being maybe 3" and I had running start...

I have the harbor freight ones, used them for a short time - work just fine. Don't expect to just be able to push the car around with ease. I was able to push it around with no help, but it is a struggle!

I also have Harbor freight ones. Worked well to move car, but try not to load it up with your spare parts-gets heavy quick. It was not too hard to push, just make sure floor is well swept before pushing.

I've also used them under the front frame rails when I swapped spindles-just use a 4x4 under frame. They do some in handy for heavy stuff.

I looked into them also, but found that I could just as easily move the car around with the floor jack. It may be a little more work, but I can move my 68 with ease now that I know how to do it properly. Just make sure if you want to move the front end, put the car in neutral so that the back wheels are free to move.

I've got a set of the Harbor Freight ones also. Pretty easy to turn a car around with them.

I usually use the jack, too - but the other car in the garage is a bug, and although I COULD just pick it up and slide it over, my back just doesn't like it so much. Bugs get lifted by 1 SIDE of the car at a time, not front/back like most cars.

Thanks, Guys - looks like quite a few options out there!

I've got Harbor Freight ones. It's all I can do to move the car around with em'. Require two people and still a struggle. My perspective is I got what I paid for and next time i'd spend more.

I've had the standard dollies before and found they are a bunch of working getting the car on and off of them. Everytime I'm done with the car I put it on dollies so that I can push it out the way). I bought a set of Go-jacks and love them. These dollies jack up the vehicle with a foot pedal, I can have the car off of the ground and agianst the wall in 5 minutes. They are very well made to and should last along time.

I bought a few sets from harbor freight. They work ok if you are lucky enough to get a set that actually has round wheels.
