Those do look great. And for the price, you can't beat em.

What size is he running? Also, those are the chrome version and not the polished right?

Thanks to Daaujla for posting the pics for me. I haven't had much time to hop on here lately. These wheels do look incredible on the car and the pics after the car comes back from the bodyshop will be even better because it's now lowered 2" in the front and back. I'll post the pics when I get it back in about 3 weekd. These are the 17"x8" 5-120.65 part number 57190 they list them in metric on the Discount Tire Direct Website. Unfortunately, my car is in the body shop so I don't have any more pictures at the moment. A shop I had working on the car didn't torque the lugs on the rear wheels and when they went to test drive it one came off destroying the rear right quarter. They're paying for it to be repaired, but I won't have it back for a few weeks.

This brings me to a question....I didn't torque the wheels before I sent the car to the shop on a flatbed, I don't drive it during this time of the year with all the crap on the roads. I tightened the hell out of them and asked him to torque them before anyone test drove the car.

I just recently read that if you're using aftermarket rims on a rear drum brake car (front is disc, but I haven't converted the rear) you should use longer studs like 3". I think whats on there are fairly stock, although I haven't measured them. I'm concerned that this will happen again.

Does anyone have any insight into what to do to avoid any problems? I honestly don't even want to drive the car until I've figured out how to make sure this never happens again. The car isn't a perfect 10, but it's certainly a 5 footer and I want to keep it that way, especially after it comes back from the bodyshop, hopefully looking as good as it did before the mechanics little accident.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
