Default 67 gto front drum spindle/hub assembly

will a gto front spindle work on the same year chevelle and vice versa 67 model year, drum brakes. I am thinking yes but would like an expert 2nd opinion. thanks in advance jason.

Thanks Derek, the steering arms have to be different though I would think since Moog lists different part numbers for the centerlink? What say you. thanks Jason.

The steering arms should be the same too.

I'm not sure why the centerlink is listed different Are you sure one wasn't listed as having Power Steering or something?

power steering centerlink same as non power. difference is the pitman arm.

If it's done the same way as on later models, the only difference in the steering linkage is in the diameter of the outgoing shaft on the steering box. A P/S box has a larger shaft, but the arm is the same length as on a manual box. All other parts are the same, such as ball joint dimensions, geometry etc.

I'm not sure about the US cars, but the Canadian cars do indeed have 2 different diameter (13/16" or 7/8") center links from 64 to 67. As long as all the components are matched, you can use either one. I think Cutlass is also a hit and miss deal with the center links. It may only be the Canadian cars that are that way though.
