Getting back into my '69 ... I ran into this thread.

You have to find some humor in this though ... If everyone wanted lightweight, poor fitting replacement panels ... they've been available for years!

Not knocking AMD ... I'm actually going to go "All In" buying a complete doghouse from them, but me and some friends have joked for years that no one in the 60's would have needed acid dipping with today's replacement parts.

Oh, by the way, if this is to judge market for aluminum body panels ... I'm out.

who else has the possibility of making them whould think biggist cost would be set up and tooling what do A/L panels run on a Camero or Mustang compared to regular panels ?

Well Classic Ind. is now offering 1969 Camaro aluminum body panel kits. Maybe some day I could order aluminum parts for my 1971 Chevelle.
