Its a number they used to id the body between the Fisher Body side and the Chevy final assembly side. Its part of a larger 8-10 digit computer assigned serquence number printed on the build sheets and called the Data Processing Sequence Number (DP SEQ NO on the build sheet)
if you dont have your build sheet. it should be under the tar paper drivers side front. be easy taking it up. that is the only place that i know of for arlington cars. and i do believe that under the blower motor there should be a partial vin on firewall. but it prob. is not there cuz there were some strange happenings at the arlington plant my car was built 05E. may fifth week.
