I got tired of having my parts cleaning brush get all expanded into a 3 inch diameter fuzzball. So, I slid a 2 inch long piece of pvc pipe over when it is not in use. Pulling the pipe back enough to expose the bristles also makes for a much stiffer brush when there is a need to do some serious scrubbing.

Good trick, I'll try it. Has anyone used one of those solvent fed brushes. They look nice but do they last?
