I'm pretty sure that Bob West has, with multiple 1.3 second 60 foot times. If he doesn't chime in soon, you might want to send him a PM to inquire. But I'm sure that Bob isn't the only one who has.

Yeah pretty sure Bob had good success with them but I think he said they didnt last too long compared to others he has tried.

I like the Hoosier drag radials, they weigh the same as my slicks, they hook as good as my radial slicks, but they just dont last like I think they should The MT's on the car now are HEAVY, costing me a tenth in e.t. in the 1/8th mile.

I found most every drag radial to work best between 15-16.5 psi. As far as hooking with any consistency, it depends on the track, especially what tires other racers are using, as much as anything. If everybody is running street tires and not laying down decent rubber, then forget about it. That's my experience, and I run soft 60's, I have to imagine that Bob is even more susceptible to spinning on a crappy track. The MT's are quite a bit heavier than the Hoosier's.

Perhaps you should explain a little bit more about your vehicle combo, what 60' times you're obtaining, and what other tires you have tried (if any). Because maybe your traction problems aren't really due to your tire choice at all. What about the rest of your vehicle? ET's? Front and rear suspension? vehicle weight?

I set the tire pressure at 18psi Friday when I got to Tulsa last weekend, ran Fri,Sat and Sunday and 60fts were 1.360-1.371 in 12 of 13 passes. One pass I backed off the burnout and it spun hard (posted every pass in my CDRA post). I go from 2nd to 3rd til I see smoke in the rearview then let off the brake and power up to the line.

Notice that there is no starter in the picture? He ran off to the side of the track just to take that picture
