Get the February 2013 Chevy High Performance magazine.
There is a 70 Chevelle with 19's and 20's. The car looks great.

This all depends on what rim style he wants, are the brakes upgraded? If you throw a set of 19's & 20's on with drum brakes, it's gonna look terrible. At the most go with 18's all around. Better wheel and tire choices also.......IMO.

Yeah, drums look like **** through big wheels, kind of has the "money for form but not function" vibe to it, and I say that as someone who had drums for a bit. 19 and 20 can fit, just gotta make sure you get the back space right. 18s are probably a better ride vs performance size, with more tire options.

I have 19's and 20's on my 70 El Camino. They fit just fine.

Looking back at your original post I have to apologize.. You where looking for tire sizes… I can’t speak for 18/20’s but I’m running 235/50ZR18’s on the front and 295/45ZR18’s on the rear.
