"Go to the paint store and buy some Visqueen. Comes in a roll 12' by 400'. Plastic off the car. When done throw it away and start over."

Humm....may not be such a bad idea.

"If it's indoors, why the cover ?? Unless there is other activity in the garage that creates excessive dust or moisture, I think the risk of buggerin' up the car with a cover is worse than a little dust or spider crap that can be removed with a duster or spot spray polish ?? I'm more concerned with something falling or banging into the car while in the garage, which a cover offers little protection. I say leave it uncovered "

Here in Los Banos CA it's really dusty...even living in a small town not in a rural area. Even in a closed garage that gets opened once in a while. A cover will also lesson the chance that any house pets (cats) will scratch the paint too.

Eric (Fleming 23 above) Canyou stick an antenna hole in it? Or do you need to order it like that? Where did you find it? Phil (Slick 71Ss) same questions?
You have to do the antenna hole yourself, but the cover should come with a grommet to use(mine did). It looks like the Wolf brand is no longer available. The Covercraft Dustop is $185 through JcWhitney right now using the current 20% discount code and free shipping. Seems like no where offers them with mirror pockets anymore. Mine has the pockets and I really like that feature.

Back when I was single, lived in an apartment, with nothing else to do I had a Black 78 Trans Am. Since it was in a Carport I had lot of luck with car covers that were lined with a flannel like material. Of course since I was so busy and this was my first really nice car after a divorce, I washed and waxed the car every week. That was the only way I could keep the car clean and keep from taking all the paint off the High Points. As what was already pointed out.... All car covers will scratch the car. If you can keep the cover from moving while on the car to a minimum....you will have a much better chance of keeping the paint nice.

How long ago was the car painted? If was literally just painted, some shops dont want you putting a cover on so the paint can continue to cure over the next several days or week or whatever, each shop has different recommendations.
