What's minimal rust? Where?
Is there evidence of a rustoration in the body? You know we're picture wh*res around here. Any chance of getting more pictures. Automatic trans? Looks like buckets..Working A/C? EDIT: I meant looks like bench, but fingers type buckets. Bad fingers!

The only rust showing is a small spot behind the right rear tire. The rest of the car is solid. There have been some fender/bender repairs since new but it still has mostly original paint. Bench seat and as mentioned earlier, auto transmission (Th400+12 bolt). AC is all there............

My gut on the one you're looking at tells me they're asking around $18K.
Worth... maybe a little shy of $15K? Here's one I swore was the same car (at first but the mileage is way off) asking $18K which I think is too high. All original 36K miles. Don't know about the drivetrain. http://huntington.craigslist.org/cto/2913780541.html ![]() I like both!

almost identical except for the interior color, amber turn signals, and the center caps. I wonder if they are both 400's.

Is that your car Papa, or are you considering buying it?
What condition is the original engine in? In need of rebuild? |

It is Papa's car...is really a nice original car, if that combination suits your fancy.

The original LS3 engine was pulled to freshen for a restoration that never happened......It ran fine, didn't have any funny noises or oil issues but did have around 90K miles on it.

It looks like a nice car right now so I would say a solid $12,000.

Do we know the asking price or are you just trying to come up with a rough estimate of value?
The prior body damage and rust would scare me a bit. Cool ride!
