Hellwig p/n 5865 Drag Bar for 64-67 GM A-body applications is purpose-built for drag racing applications. It is manufactured from 1-1/4” solid chrome moly steel that has been quenched and tempered to a tensile strength of 180,000 psi. The sway bar is powder coated silver vein hammertone and incorporates three adjustment points to allow the sway bar to be tuned to match track conditions. Hellwig’s drag bar features American-made rod ends made of 4340 chrome moly steel with Teflon liners for rattle-free operation and installation is simple and quick with Hellwig’s patent pending frame brackets.
