We have JUST setup as a dealer for RainGear and we have secured some VERY low stock on the 67-69 Camaro / Firebird units as well as Chevelle and 55-57 units. The other applications are typically in stock at RainGear and ship out the SAME or next day so no worries there!

We are offering FREE shipping in the 48 states as well as an introductory extra forum discount on top of that for you guys through the end of October 2014, after that, your "regular" forum discount price will apply!

Please Call, PM or Email for your price and SPECIFY regular 2 speed or 2 speed WITH INTERMITTENT.

IF you want a PROVEN USA MADE system that will allow you to COMPLETELY smooth your firewall and not worry about the ugly wiper motor hanging off there this is THE answer!

Its also a great choice for those doing a build that are missing the stock wiper transmission parts and/or motor..

Applications use the stock Arms/Blades and are Available in the regular 2 speed system or with an intermittent/Delay option

The RainGear wiper system is a rugged, time tested and proven, lever and link windshield wiper system. It is specifically designed to completely replace the original factory wiper system.

Because RainGear systems fits entirely under the dash, you can remove the old firewall mounted motor entirely. This will free up engine compartment room for that big block motor or give more clearance for an HEI distributor. Or you can leave the old wiper motor in for authenticity.

The exterior uses the original arms, blades and trim. Both the standard and intermittent switches can use the original knob and information bezel, again retaining perfect authenticity. In fact, no one will know you have the RainGear system installed, except that when it rains others will be struggling to see out their windshield while you will clearly see the road ahead.

Specifications:

12 volt, 5 amp, 2 speed electric motor.
Heavy duty brackets, links and wiper towers.
Weather-sealed electrical parts.
No drilling! Uses stock mounting points.
Uses original arms, blades, trim, knob and bezel.
Optional intermittent switch.
Optional washer unit.
Fully guaranteed.
Includes comprehensive, illustrated installation instructions.
Made in the USA with top quality materials.

To clear up a question a lot of guys have been asking, most muscle car applications will install in the cowl area, where your existing wiper linkage is, other cars with no room in this area like the 55-57 Bel Air will install under the dash. If you follow this link to the install instructions, click your car and you can see where it will install, with pics in most applications: http://www.pacificwesterndesign.com/documents.htm

Thank you for the many purchases on these kits, they are the only way to retain your wipers and have a TRUE smooth firewall!

If nothing else, just getting rid of the hideous, stock wiper motor is such a huge upgrade, plus you can add delay at the same time if you want

Nothing as of right now. The Company has been a one man show for over 20 years! Amazing IMO!!

He does turn out some top notch product and its always right because ONE guy is doing everything from R&D to packaging!!

As soon as any new system's are announced I will post right away.

I do agree though, the 68-72 A-Body NEEDS to be next

Thanks

REMINDER:

The introductory price sale ends in 3 days, this Friday, October 31st!

Many kits have sold, some have been installed already with very good feedback!

If you look at what you get for the money and what the finished product does for the look and clearance, why would you spend as much on a motor to mount on the firewall??

IMO this is a MUST have for a smooth firewall car and a VERY nice upgrade even for a stock firewall, wiper motors are ugly... With this system, it is completely hidden in the cowl area!

Thank you all very much for the purchases so far, once the intro sale is over we will continue to offer them at your regular forum member discount price!

We still have great prices on RainGear hidden wiper systems!

The other wiper motor kit option many of us were using is on indefinite back order!

This kit completely hides the motor AND gives you all new linkage as well for a lower price than just the other motors were! It's a no brainer!
