There was an interesting comment about tossing out beam type torque wrenches when they go out of calibration. I had always been told that they do not go out of calibration in normal use. I note that the company has a price list for clicker type and dial type wrench calibrations, but no beam types are listed. Here is the price list.
I see guys jerking on torque wrenches all the time... Jerking a torque wrench WILL NOT give you accurate torque settings... Slow and gradual increasing force until the wrench beam snaps is the correct and only accurate way to use a torque wrench...
