I have a 1965 Chevelle 2dr post sedan. I and alot of others need the panel that is the lower part of the rear window and it goes to the trunk. I forget what it is called. The hardtop part is too long and will not fit. It would be fairly simple for AMD to shorten this up so those of us with 2dr post sedans would be able to repair this area which is often in poor shape. Thanks Jim
PLEASE LET ME KNOW! |

Have you thought about making this panel yet? Whomever makes this replacement panel will be surprised by the demand for it. It is basically the same part as the 2dr hardtop but 3in shorter. It is difficult to take the coupe part and shorten it because of the curves, ect. I suppose it could be done but it would be hard to match up the curve and keep it from warping.
Come on AMD-help us out with this common rust area on our 2 dr post cars. It may even be the same part on the 4dr cars. |

Just to clarify, you're looking for the piece that goes between the back glass and the trunk? If that is correct, it would be the deck filler panel. Currently, we do not offer the deck filler for a 65 model and we don't have plans to produce that part in the future. Sorry I can't be more help. |
