No, not if it's not severe. Norton "The Beast" discs last long. If you bought cheap ones you can't expect quality. They come with and without a mandrel and different styles. 3M too. Both companies have websites for product info and/or all you have to do is google "clean strip discs". Come on now boys, surely most know how to search many things on the net. Especially those who have phones and keyboards fused permanently to their bodies.
