Hey guys, Im slapping on some SS 396 emblems on my 69 Malibu (yes I know another guy destroying a Malibu), but I need to know the measurements of where to place the rear SS emblem that goes just below the trunk. I could wing it but I want it to be correct and look right. If no one knows (Ive done a search and cant find it) then can someone take a few close up shots of their rear outside and inside the trunk (insert joke here) to see exactly where to drill so I can see exactly where to mount it. Thanks guys!

Just drill a whole bunch; 2 are bound to be right!
If there are no holes, I'd suggest using 3m 2 sided automotive tape - that way you don't need to drill. I attached my chevelle trunk emblem that way about 6 years ago.

danny, try this once... open the trunk and slide your fingers along the back of where the emblem belongs, there might be a couple holes there already filled with sealant... thats how my 68 chevelle was... good luck.. jeff
