I'm going to wash and wax the sides and see how she looks.
The roof and hood need a sanding and re paint...I could probably tackle that while waiting for my engine parts. I need a day of rest...been working feverishly the last few days.

I'm really going to have fun with this car...doesn't need a ton of anything as far as I can tell....might go all out and have the interior done professionally.
Although The interior is pretty comfortable...might try my luck at seat cover replacement. We shall see.

My trouble spot...driver floor area...same spot as my Trans Am..and I don't weld.
Maybe it's time to learn...seriously thinking of buying a welder.

Following this thread and congrats on a good find and project. Floor pans look a lot more intimidating than they actually are once you get into them. I had a Fred Flintstone optioned set of floor pans too and with a little planning and repairs they came out good, as I am sure yours will too. Have fun with it - Ed

I actually like the interior, but I do have some buckets I removed from a minivan.
I also grabbed the carpeting and floor insulation...we shall see what happens. I might install them while I re cover the current interior. First thing on my parts list is a tilt column...hate standard columns. The paint was super dry,I rubbed it out with rubbing compound and three coats of wax...this is what I got...

I guess that driver must have been changing a trailer tire in one of the first pictures then...
