Default Wheel Well molding trim screw

What size are the screws that hold the wheel well molding trim on a 70 chevelle SS? My has three differance sizes; not sure what's correct...Thanks in advance Buddyv

I think it's a #10 x 3/8" sheet metal screw. In any case, NPD sells the correct screw with the correct head configuration...

They are #8 x 3/8". NPD has the correct AMK ones or you can get the close to correct ones in Stainless steel at NAPA. They come in a bag of 20 I think.

They are 8-32x3/8, I bought mine at NAPA auto parts,

The Org. (1970 Era.) screws that hold the wheel well trim are stainless and have a little " Triangle " stamped on the head of each screw, Mfg. I.D.

Bob, thanks for the input; I like knowing this kind of stuff... I will be looking tonight and see if any of my screws have the stamping on them... Have anymore tips to check for orginal parts ?

I have a complete set with the correct head marking. They are $25 each (each screw)

That is a steal. I think your way underpriced compared to the air cleaner wing nuts for 75.00.
