Painting under the floor pan
Just about ready to paint the under body floor pan on my car. The car is the original Red Oxide Primer (Arlington built) . I was thinking on useing red oxide primer DP 74 LF from PPG . I read that it is very close in being the correct color as the original. I plan on leaving it like this just because thats how the factory did. ANY thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.!

Epoxy it and proceed. I'd put two coats on. Under a car, it'll last a long time..

Is arlington the only place that coated the floors in the red oxide? My baltimore built GTO had all black under the nasty factory undercoating.

Arlington seems to be the primary plant that used red oxide. Other plants used black, or grey.
