When i installed my upper arm they are hitting the frame on the front adjustable arm. I dont have a pic yet but will take one. The spot is a support for the mounting area. looks like others have cut that support off, is that what needs to happen.

Yes, trim it down with a 4 inch grinder.

Had to trim as well on my 71 El Camino, I used a plasma cutter but a grinder would work well to
