I got an email from Year One this morning stating a 30% discount on web purchases today 12-25-2011 only. No minimum so I had a great time Christmas shopping for myself.

Thanx for the info Brad. I have restored a few Chevelles in my time and have never bought anything from Yearone. I am currently in the middle of two projects now. A 64 Malibu convertible and a 66 El Camino. All the parts have come from OPG, Ausleys, Ecklers and others. I guess I have a problem with someone charging for their catalog. I know you get it back but, I guess it is the principle. I even wrote an e-mail to them outlining my projects and asking why they charge and all others don't. It went ignored. Had they answered it I probably would have ordered something from them. So I choose not to do business with them.
May sound dumb but I can spend my money wherever I want.

Hi David,
Doesn't sound dumb at all. If a business ignored me they wouldn't get my money either. I have had pretty good luck with YearOne but sounds like that can be hot and miss. Good luck on your projects!!!

I got concerned reading the replies that YearOne at 30% off was then equal to OPG and such. I went to OPG and compared with the parts I bought and OPG was considerably higher. This worked out good for me but I understand if you don't like a company then you're not going to buy from them. I thought Id share the code for those who were interested.
