Iv established its a 350 made 77-79, but thats where the internet dries up. any first hand knowledge of the block would be apriecieated, hp? torque?

I think that was the 190 HP 350, nothing special just a low compression smog engine. Nothing wrong with using it as a foundation for an engine build, the heads and the dish pistons will be the parts that hold back any good power.
