Default How do you say "Yenko"?

So I was talking to a few guys today at a local car meet and they got on the subject of Yenkos and COPOs and I had a question, now I have always said "Yenko" with an E sound and assumed that was right but they were saying "Yanko" with an A sound. I have heard it both ways from just about everyone including owners, which is the correct way to say it?

I've always said it with the E sound.

I've always spelled it e x p e n s i v e.

Sorry Bob, i forgot my smiley. I have been schooled many a time by my wife for mispronouncing Lancaster in my Iowa dialoge. I was trying to add to the fun at my own expense. No way for you to know that, didn't mean to offend.

Yenko Honda was at 3663 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA but is now South Hills Honda

Yenko Chevy moved from Canonsburg to 2939 Washington Road McMurray, PA but was closed in 1981 and became Sun Chevy
