Well, still trying to figure this out on my 72. I have a th350 with a floor shifter. I believe car was originally a column shift. I'm starting to think that the lever on the transmission may even be the wrong one. I also have no bracket on the pan holding cable.
What I have.... Is a cable from floor shifter that has an eyelet..... ---> ---------0 The lever on the tranny looks like .....----> o[___]o The "o" represents a hole in the "[". Hope those will work. I just have no clue on what I need to make these work together. I've tried the parts stores and tranny shops. I even tried the dealership and they were no help. Hoping someone will know or can get me a pic b/c this is one of the last few things I need done to make the car drivable. Thanks, Kyle |
