TH350 TCS switch "plug"

I have a 1972 TH350 there is a switch with a single wire going to it on the pass side of the tranny near the kick down cable and dip stick tube.

Is this a TCS switch ?

As soon as I put the car into gear this switch leaks fluid.
(This leak took awhile to figure out :clonk: 2 pan gaskets and 1 O-ring later ;)

I was told I could just remove it and plug it.

What should I use to plug it ?

I assume it would be a pipe thread, but what size ?

(I want to have the plug ready for when I pull the switch  )

As far as the rest of the TCS system, I dont have any vacume lines or mystery box. But I guess there may still be a relay somewhere, should that be removed ? or is it basically doing nothing now anyway ?

Thanks !

well it was 3 years ago that I posted this problem.

But if I remember correctly? I just went to ace hardware and bought a Brass plug to replace the useless thing. pretty sure it was a pipe thread.
