Can anyone tell me does Matrix produce any quality paints? I was talking with a guy today about painting my car and he said that he likes using Matrix products. He is a authorized sprayer for them and he told me that they would guarentee the paint for the lifetime that I owned the car. He mentioned using something called euro clear. I've been checking his work out for a while now and he does good work, but im just not sure about this Matrix paint.

If memory serves correctly, Matrix is a product of The Netherlands and is owned by(?) or marketed by Akzo Nobel (Sikkens) in North America. It is considered an economy line. I've never used Matrix, but all the reports I've heard on it are good. "Euro clear" is a common reference by 3-4 paint companies about their clearcoat. It has little actual meaning.

Its better than Omni.

I have not found one reducer or hardener that does not cross over
and can be used by Matrix to PPG and vice versa. Was thrown into
Matrix after the local PPG dealer closed shop and I had a good
amount of PPG left. Found on the net that it was a chemist or he
hired chemist to copy PPG's formula's. I still like PPG's 2021 better
than Matrix clears but the rest I can save money on.

Just goes to show that "memory didn't serve correctly" in this case. How about advancing CRS?

Kirker is cheaper in price than most. They have a virtual car show that has pictures of the cars painted and if it was single stage. Kirker is mail order. Most brands of paint have what are called fleet colors. What does Matrix have to offer and why should I use it? You are just throwing pictures out there and not saying what was used other than Matrix. I would use Matrix but I would need a reason over another brand. Rustoleum is cheap but I sure wouldn't paint a car with it.
