Can anyone tell me where I can see a copy of a TH400 exploded view with the parts list? I've found a couple exploded views on line but not with a corresponding parts list.

Used to be able to get a little booklet right from the GM parts counter. Qwik-req "Parts Requisition Forms". Perhaps five or eight pages.

Exploded view of a trans section, with labels, and a corresponding part number list. The trans was divided into sections, each section had a diagram and part numbers. The idea was you'd pull a trans apart for inspection, check-mark all the part numbers you wanted--and then hand the booklet back to the partsman to fulfill. That way neither you nor the partsman had to stand at the parts window for an hour figuring out which parts you needed.

I see these booklets on eBay now and then. I'm trying to find a good one for a Turbo 425--all I have is a reduced-size photocopy.

If I "open" that in Firefox, I get nothing but a pageful of gibberish. I had to "save as" and then open it to get anything useful.

The Qwik-req is available by doing an eBay search (Qwik-req, Qwikreq) :

but of course this link won't work for very long.

Ordinarily, I'd say that twenty-three dollars is INSANE, but since they aren't available brand new and free at the parts counter anymore--the price is going to be whatever the market will bear.
