There was a movie made in the mid 80's with Sean Penn and Christopher Walken.....they were driving an early 70's Chevelle SS I think it was a '70..... I haven't seen that movie in years.
OK, I have an obscure movie that I recently watched on Netflix. I think it was made in 2010 or 2011. To say that it is a bad movie is an understatement. It is called "Nude Nuns With Big Guns". There is a lot of nudity, bad acting, and a ragged looking 69 SS396 that the main Nun drives around (she is clothed, at least while driving). You take the good with the bad.
How about the '68 Malibu in the 80s movie 'Catch Me if You Can' ? Pretty decent movie, I like at the end where they jump a '57 Chevy onto the football field. Yeah cars got destroyed but still to this day I'm awed by old school stuntdriving.
A friend of mine told me in the newest Transformer Movie (I think it might have MOON in the title) that there is a 69 Chevelle that is identical to mine. I probably should google it and see. Has anyone seen the movie?
I had read somewhere the Chevelle in Pulp Fiction was Tarintinos car. It was stolen while on the set and recovered 13 years later. (One of my favorite movies)
There is an episode or two of American Dad where the teenage sons principal at school drives a 66 and 67 Malibu 300 sedan. The front is obvious its a 66 and the rear is a 67 and has the familiar 300 badges on the rear quarter. One episode has the principal driving it on the entire episode and I believe the interior shots also show the familiar 66/67 style dash.
If you remember the TV show Life on Mars (American version) that aired a few years ago, my Chevelle is parked on the street in the pilot episode. Don't blink, you'll miss it...lol
Had to add this. Today I was watching Tour of Duty (late 80's Vietnam TV show). End credits = 67' Chevelle.
