For the past several months I have been cleaning out a building that housed the contents of a Chevrolet dealers brochure's, Showroom displays, and advertising stuff, . I have made numerous trips sifting out what is interseting now it all has to be disposed of. It was overwheming there are still over 5000 brochures from 1970 to the early eighties. While there on this visit I came across a box of stuff from the used car department circa 1976.
This is really interesting check out Chevrolet values as the Used Car department would have valued them in the First Gas Crunch !!!
Starting with the newest of the second gen Chevelle's the 1972 Model year
Note the add on for the SS model a whopping $50/$75 and You deduct for a 4 speed
The 1971 and older didn't even factor in the SS on the Chevelle
It's crazy to see that the Corvette didn't suffer actually valued above list price in some years !!!!
Some of the Neat stuff from today's Treasure hunt !!!!
This by far is the Neatest of the items , I have never seen a desktop 454 display
Even the 350 is Cool !!!
A pretty Cool Flashback to when Our Beloved Chevelle's were Gas Guslers and not worth a Whole Lot !!!! Wouldn't You have loved to buy 20 or so at those prices !!!!
