Ditto on Mad Electrical as a resource for setting up your alternator once you get it (or any electrical work on our muscle cars for that matter). I actually got their whole "New System" set up. Man, I'm glad I did. It really took a ton of the mystery out of the electrical/wiring side of working on my ride. I actually looked forward to running wires and soldering splices because Mark @ MadElectrical makes it real easy with the supplied elements and diagramed instructions.
Just one thing though...not a negative, but an FYI...when you can him to order or ask question, make sure you've got 30-60 minutes blocked out to talk to him. He goes into great detail about how things work and loves to engage in conversation! :) Really nice guy and highly recommended.
