    Primary t-slots should be squared, adjust idle speed with the secondary from there. Secondary should be square to non exposed. What timing is he running, fuel, compression, and spark plugs?

    Hi Mark I have a friend with a 67 camaro we just finished installing a Bill Mitchell 454 small block in. It has CNC ported Motown 220 heads, which the intakes ended up in the 250-260 range the original owner of the enigine says, the single plane world products intake it came with, and a AED 1050 dominator carb. 1 7/8" headers, and a solid roller with 286/292, 248/254 @ .050", .577"/.583", 112 LSA, installed on a 112 ICL.

    What baseline do I adjust the dominator to for idle screw/transfer slot exposure, and what baseline for mixture screws? Same as I would a 4150 carb?

    When adjusting the idle (which we want 900-1000), do I leave the primary alone and adjust with the secondary as I would a 4150?

    Timing is 34 degrees locked out. No vacuum advance.
