    hi Dave,
Hope you will help me and can help me.
I have driven the car three times. short distances. In total 30 miles or so. Yesterday the shifter was jammed. The car is in first gear and can drive. The shifter doesn't seems to be in the first gear, but is a bit loose. `it can to get into another gear. It is stuck, somewhat in the middle. What can this be and what can be done about this?
I also heard a high sound in the second gear, especially when I let the gas loose. In third and fourth gear the car moved smoothly.

    Hope you can help me.
    regards,
    Frank

Dave, Don't know if you remember me. I met you a few times in Chicago. I'm restoring a 67 and was wondering if you do or know of any one that can restore my steering column? There are some other things that I need to get done, like restore the power steering system. Let me know if you can help me. Thanks and I hope all is well with you.

    Hello Dave,

I'd like to thank you for all of your help for guiding me concerning information on my 72 Chevelle 402 car. I did have another question though. What temperature sending units do I need and where are they located on my m20 402? I do have factory tac and gauges. What bolt does the oil sending unit line bracket go to on the bell housing? Thanks Dave,

    Derek

    Hi Dave,

Some of the other members suggested that you might be able to answer the questions I have about the Q-Jet I am rebuilding for my '72 SS 454 LS5 relevant to whether or not that setup had the AC solenoid original from the factory or not?

Here is the thread I started and let me know what other info you might need to answer to help me determine if the '72 LS5 original Q-Jet with AC had the solenoid installed from the factory?

    Thanks,

    Bruce

Hello Dave You are a life saver and I feel real stupid.. The wire you told me about was tucked up behind the batt mount and with all the dirt/junk I never saw the thing. Went digging after your post and there it was IT WORKS Thanks John
