Hi oman, My name is Tom and was reading one of the archived posts where you were talking about Tony "Goober" Scheidel... I am the original purchaser of the car from the family. I actually just got his 3 window coupe back in my posseion just about 2 weeks ago. I see you mentioned you had some pics of him. If at all possible I would love to see them. Thanks again for your time. -Tom xofmot @ hotmail. com

Oman, I still work daily, but maybe we can meet up soon. I am planning on making the trek down to the All Chevy / Summit show at McDonough this Saturday too. I am a member of the PeachState Chevelle clip and they are hosting that show. Ed

When I replaced my dash I had another whole car.I bought a 1971 Monte Carlo for all my drivetrain,AC,and dash.I used the gauge cluster and all from the Monte.I used the Fuse box and dash harness from the Monte. Also usd the Engine Harness from the Monte. If I was gouing to put in a factory round gauge dash I would look hard for a Monte Dash Harness and fuse box.It will make life easier on you.I used the fuse box from the Monte and where it splits outside the firewall I used the engine harness from the Monte and other half for the chargeing and headlights was my original chevelle.None of the wires had ever been cut into on either of my cars.I just plugged it in and everything works like new.Even put an original style alternator on it instead of a one wire built in regulator like most people do.And everything works great.Give me a call and maybe I can explain it all a little better on the phone.Id be more than glad to help out in any way I can.502-492-1982

Hello, I've been following your post on your SS dash conversion. looks really good. You are the one who convinced me classic instruments was the way to go. I ordered mine and it should be here in a few days. I'm contacting you with because I'm in the process of removing my old wiring harness. It's a 72 sweep style. wiring isn't really my thing and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if i should spare my old wiring harness or can i just cut it out and replace? you've completed yours, so I would assume you know what's best. Thanks in advance.
