Hey John, Ricky here, you staying warm? LOL
Have you seen Freedy's '68 Camaro lately? I put the z/28 stripes on it a couple of weeks ago, recleared the car and sanded and buffed it out and it looks great, if I say so my self. He did a great job putting it back together. He will be showing it in the Watermelon fest this weekend, it will be in the parade and the car show, hope to see you there.

John, You're up already? That's almost as bad as me, up at 3:30 LOL. I went up to Dave Schacht's 3 weeks ago to see his Chevelle (bought from you). It looks outstanding. He did a fantastic job on the body and paint. The paint is as nice as any pro could've done. Vinyl top and int uph (legendary) installation is by a pro and looks perfect. Just needs a little detailing under the hood IMO. It will be a first class car and is nearing completion. You should see his house and shop (wow).

John,
I am not on here to create problems. But I am curious why you slammed me on my LS5 posting about not having a profile and such? Did I offend you in some way that I am not aware of?

Thank you for the good news/bad news/knowledge. I now know more than I knew yesterday!

Hey John!
I just thought I would give you a quick update. The Exhaust system is done, brakes are bled, and all suspension tightening is done. I started the speedo cable but left it hanging under the car until I could do a search on the proper routing.
A friend of a friend suggested that I speak to a paint and body guy that he knows. He and his Dad stopped by my shop the day after X-mas and loved the car, couldn't believe how solid it is. These guys do a lot a lot of restos that go to England, they are absolute fanatics about quality. The father and two of his sons are 3 of the only 4 guys in the country who can fit Indy Car body panels (Aerodynamics). I'm going to meet with a couple of other shops before I make a decision though. I am thinking about doing the upolstery myself. There is not much left to do other than paint and reassembly.
Any chance you know what the long orange wire on the drivers side of the dash is for? One of it's connectors has a bulb socket on it. Later, Dave
