Wow Keith, you have cleaned house with a couple sweet cars ! The thing is though we all have to do what makes us happy at that time and I know what you mean its hard to beat todays technology. I'm hoping to have the best of both worlds or at least a happy medium !! Those Beaumonts are really rare. I just found a CDN 66 396 chevelle in my back yard almost. I will post up pics shortly, its one of 499 CDN 360HP 396 4spd cars built

    Hi Keith
Just registered this minute. It concerns your COPO Chevelle. I'm going to test your memory some 40 years ago. I see your profile picture and I sure you are the one my buddy ( worked at Beares pumping gas ) and had the pleasure of a coutesy ride in your COPO. It started in the IGA parking lot? Your COPO had radio delete and you had just installed an aftermarket radio in the glove box, right?
PS: I believe you lived in Oshawa. But I see from your profile that you're from the east so that would explain your pal with the orange COPO was from downtown Ida?
    Great to hear you story

Sorry to say that we have sold the el Camino. Our collection of old cars was designed to be part of our retirement fund. Well, retirement came and we have sold the Lemans Sport and the el Camino. We're happy to say that the new owners are very happy with their new rides. We'll keep one of the Chevelles. Just can't decide which one. The LT1 may just end up in our son's 1965 Acadian Canso.
