The paint design, layout, and colors are all my doing. I'm happy with all of that. I just wish the quality of the work would have been better. But, I got a great deal on it and I shouldn't complain too much for what I paid. The car was in white primer for years, and when an affordable offer came my way, I jumped on it. I'd had this paint scheme in my head for awhile- I wanted it unique, distinctive, and interesting with a vintage racer flavor. Someone told me it looked like Smokey Yunick's tow vehicle. That nailed it for me!
Performance-wise, you've probably got more power (I've got 545hp/500 ft-lbs) with your LS and less weight. We've got similar suspension, but you've got wider tires. If your power is close, you should have no trouble staying ahead of me. I'd sure do my best to keep up with ya though- Hopefully we'll get the chance to play on a road course someday! The Heidts Challenge near Chicago is a perfect opportunity. I went to the first one this year and it was a blast!
