I don't know. How about the wires that go to the drivers side door switch. Maybe you disturbed them when you took the EB out. I think one side has 2 wires running to it and the other only has one.

I work on my cars at home, I have a two car garage with all the basic tools but I wish I had a lift. I can't figure out how to attach photos to this message so I can't show you my car but it has a really crappy white paint job with green stripes and a green interior, I hate the way it looks.
My work schedule allows me a lot of flexibility for time off so I am hoping to get a lot of work done. I don't have the equipment or the ability to do a really nice paint job so I will have to find a bodyshop

Thanks for the offer of help, I plan on going through the whole car so it will be a big job.
Last year I finished a full resto on a 68 Mustang GT but this is my first Chevelle project so I'm looking forward to learning a lot.
Your car looks awesome, did you do all the work yourself?

    I'm in Farmington.
I picked up my car last November, it is a 70 Malibu that needs a lot of work. My plan is to go through it completely, new motor, trans, steering, suspension, paint and interior. I will be doing it as an SS clone but I wont try to pass it off as the real thing.
Now that weather is getting warmer I can start working on it.

I normally run a double pumper but this carb looked like it was brand new. I just cleaned it up and put a rebuild kit in it. Car runs good with it.

Yeah, I was looking at them the other day. I was wondering why they were private.

Hi. Took everything out of my stock box, cleaned it. took everything out of the Tahoe VR box, instalkled it in my 70 box, changing all the seals and teflon lings and the rest of the rebuild stuff. Direct fit and a nice deal. Better than a fast 12:1 box IMO, they can be a PITA on the freeway.
