Hey there Dave, We were way at the far end of the track so I don't know how you did there. Woodburn hasn't posted results that I can find anyway. The guys in your bracket looked pretty tough from where I was at. Your new trailer looked really nice, has it worked out for you? Haven't heard how the guy in the 41? Ford ended up. That was a bit of a scare as I watched the whole thing go down since we were right where that happened. I heard he was just shook up and had a few stitches in his lip. I checked out the old Ford and it was a deathtrap. Only an old lap belt to hold him in and 40's technology. He's lucky it stayed upright. I was at a race up in Spokane 28 years ago, there was a beautiful black 41 Willys locked up the rear end, spun at speed, rolled and lost his life. Trans locked when he went to drop into neutral after going through the lights. I think that was the weekend Garlits flipped backward there too. Don't remember for sure, went to allot of races there from mid 70's-84

Ok i found them. I was going to use lemon pro turing headers but they say that i will need to modify the oil pan to get them to fit. also i have to run a mini starter. Strange cause they are 2" and 3.5 collector as well. Anything else you can share that maybe im not thinking of? Thanks bruce

Hey Dave. yes the 15-350 and 350t are the same pan other then the oil seal. So you say you use Dougs headers? or Doug thorley? What starter do you use?

Hi , have a question for you. in a post you talked about canton oil pan your 67?
    you said this
"I'm using their 350T Bob...I sent the Moroso back because it didn't fit...the Canton fits great, hangs down just about even with the cross member and no issues with oil filter access....I know mine's a '67 but just thought I'd pass along my experience with it... Dave"

I was wondering are you talking about the 15-350 for a big block? I have a 66 chevelle bbc and im using the 15-350 and wanted to know what headers you found to work and also if you had any fitment issues. I wanted to run the lemon headers and they said it would be really close. Thanks Bruce.

Hi David, I have been dealing with Chris on a 496 build for my 67. Could you send me a video- sound clip of yours with cam? Chris will be setting me up with a cam and i would like to hear how lumpy an idle is with what you have as Chris suggested to contact you. Thanks, Bob. My email is bobworkluanda at gmail dot com

Congrats! Getting in the money is always good. Thats pretty tough racing against 100 cars, we only draw 15-25 cars. I wish my car could run back to back but it gets to hot. So you think the more front end travel had nothing to do with it not hooking? I really couldn't tell if it never did hook or hooked and then slipped. It usually hits very hard. Maybe i'll talked to the guy that set up my ladder bars, oh, one other thing, I went thru the 1/8 stripe at 6100, my peak hp is at 6800! So obviously I need more gear. Do you think a '56 is enough? I'm shifting at 7000, should I go up to 7200? Thanks buddy.
