Personally I would go with the standard port heads for parts availability and ease if fitment. You can make enough power to max out the 1250 Super Sniper with them no problem. Now on a N/A engine that would be different. I love the Sniper, Best thing I ever did to the car in the 26 years I have owned it. When I put the Sniper on in July of 2018 I knew nothing of EFI so I set it up just to control fueling only. Left my Ignition alone which consists of a MSD Crank trigger, MSD Billet Small Cap Distributor locked out and rotor phased and a MSD 6AL-BTM for spark and boost retard.Timing was locked out at 36° taking out .9° per pound of boost. After I got more familiar with the Sniper software, Which is easy to use and understand I set the Sniper up to control timing and it made a unbelievable difference in cold start, idle and drivability.
