    Hi Kirk

My name is Eric Wandel and I live in Helena,MT. I have a 1966 Chevelle with a Gen V 454 in it. I bought it second hand with this engine in it. I have real low oil pressure and will be tearing it down in April. I looked at your engine build that you were going to do and it sounds like what I want. Did you ever get it done? If so how did it turn out and specifically what parts did you use? Like what cam, compression ratio, heads, carb, etc did you use. I really want to get this car on the road and I am trying to decide whether to rebuild this engine or go small block. This is a Gen V engine currently with peanut port heads. I think that the cam has gone bad and spewed bits of metal to the bearings. Any information that you could tell me would be appreciated.

    Thank You
