i just won this radiator on ebay he says it comes from a 67 396 after i win come to find out its only a 3 row he says it a original off a 396 i thought all 396 came with a 4 row core will this cool my 67 396 w AC thanks

In 68 its a 3 core with ac.4 without.I put a 4 core in mine,but don't see any real improvement to justify.Yours might be alittle more space constrited if you want a 4, than the 68's by what I have seen.Also put in a transmission cooler in front of the condenser on mine if yours is an auto. also.

I originally had a 1966 BB brass 3-row radiator in my 65 El camino and it worked just fine. Temps never got above 195 except on the hottest days (90-95) here in western MA. Installed a PRC aluminum radiator and it now runs 180-185.

I have a 3 row as well - '67 with 402. (obviously not matching) Normally it runs 185-190, but on really hot days, upper 90's I've 200-205. I'm just using a pully mounted fan.
