check your shooters and make sure they are squirting and not pluged up

that's a pretty typical problem with a vacuum secondary carb. usually caused by too much air and not enough fuel, meaning the butterflies open for the secondaries but not enough fuel is being shot in to keep up with the opening rate. make sure your acc pump adjustement is not too loose in addition to what JYD said.

Try a search using "off idle bog" and another "hesitation". Theres more info in both. But, your timing needs to be correct before you start any changes in carb. Timing has a lot to do with a hesitation if not correct as I found out with TC help. Some of my problem was the timing was too retarded, than I changed to a larger shooter on a 750 holley. Also changed from ported vacuum to full vacuum advance. The above items in search are just a couple that are in there, there are much more but with a little different wording if you are able to find them.
