I have a 300 model chevelle and where the back glass sits in the rear window to trunk pan the channel is rusted out. I"ve been told that a malibu pan or a coupe pan is different. Any ideas on how to fix this channel or to possibly locate a good used one would be greatly appreciated. please help thanks.

You are talking about a "rear edeck filler." As far as I know, it is the same piece of sheet metal, unless it is a 4-door or a convertible? Call these guys:

They are a real GM dealer, hiding behind a mail order web site. They will know.
I just received my "rear deck filler" restamped sheet metal from them. The only thing is the lip that holds the rubber in place is not included. I will have to have a lip fabricated and welded on, I guess.

A sedan is not the same as a hardtop. Sherman used to have that piece for a sedan. Check with them.

First of all thanks for the replies. I called the chevy dealer that you listed he said coupe and sedan are different. Then I asked him if a sedan and a four door were the same part he did not know. If I could find out if they were the same
I might be able to find one for a four door. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

What year car is this? Is it a 4-door or a 2-door?

The year is a 1967. Thanks for asking. I found out that a 2 door sedan and four door are the same part. Know if I could only find one new or used. thanks for the reply.
