I ordered a repro front grill for my '72 and am starting to reassemble my front clip. I've thrown away the beat up original front grill a while ago to make some room in the garage, but now I'm wondering....What is the correct color for the grill? Semi-gloss? Leave it as natural black plastic?

Satin black is about the closest match.

I left mine unpainted on my 72. It is easier to clean as the painted ones seem to hold dirt on the satin finish. I think it looks very good like this since it's molded in a semi gloss plastic anyway. http://www.noneckschevelle.com/images/Josh72Chevelle92001b.jpg
