back in 71 I bought a 69 SS convertible for the pricey sum of $1,000.(that was big bucks when you only made $70 a week) it had 12,000 miles & ran like scalded ape. I sold it for $1,200 in 1980 with 90,000 miles. any how are there alot of survivors ? & what are the going for now?? I looked for another a while back & no luck. I purchased my 68 SS last year & its almost ready to cruise. thanks for letting me ramble.

Estimated 2,106,500 Chevys made in 1969. Estimated 343,600 Chevelles with V8"s with a price tag ranging from 4D $2,657 to 2D $2,889 basic pkg's. Coupes and convert Chevelles in 69, with big blocks, was a little over 86,000. Not sure about survivor estimates, but the car was not a rare one.

Prices: Vary on the how much someone wants it. I have seen them sell without a drive train needing much attn for $500 to $64,800 at Barrett Jackson Auction being mint. The Yenko's and Copo's go 100 plus.
