Hey i was looking at a coil spring lowering kit that fits the front coil springs for my chevelle on J.C. Whitneys website. It consists of four compressor assemblies. Would anyone know if this would be safe reliable way to lower to front end of the car, im sure im better off when i buy the front low profile springs but this would just be temporary til i get around to getting the springs, thanks for the input

I don't believe that they are highly recommended, but I'm sure one of the experts will set you straight either way.

OMFG!!!! Those things are still legal to sell??? The short answer to your question is HELL NO. You would be better off sticking a cutting torch into the spring seats and looping off a few coils then using a pry bar to yank them out.
