I have a 66 SS 396 that has been restored and I'm having trouble with my tail and brake lights shooting fuses. The fuse box that holds the fuses is rusty and I've tried cleaning it up as much as possible. Will I have to purchase the entire dash wiring harness and fuse box or can I purcahse just the part that holds the fuses?

The other problem I have is the steering wheel is a standard black epoxy wheel with two spokes. I have tried getting the horn kit for the wheel and it seems the only ones available are for the wood grain ones. If anyone can help with this, I am most appreciative.

Thanks for any help psosible

Harold

I do not have an answer for the fuse box. As far as the horn contacts, GU has them and I'm sure that other suppliers have them. Look on page 14.

I just bought a new for my 66 SS from the GPSuperstore on here, my old one was ragged out and after trying to straighten out the wires, re-route the wires that had gotten other wires hooked into them, and just basically going crazy trying to fix it decided to get a new one. Check out their prices, I decided it was worth trying to save what little hair I have left to just buy a new one. The ones they sell come with new fuse blocks and all of the original lamp and turn signal and what not connectors. Good luck.
