This is my first restore project, I have never done anything like this before, but the way I see it, you cant learn by not trying.
Anyway, I want to do a real basic clone to my 70 Malibu, all I want to to is the emblems, stripes, grill maybe other small things. I know that the grill for a 70 SS is black. What is the best way to paint this? Can one just use good old Krylon for this? What kind of finish I thought a semi-flat or semi-gloss. Thank you all for taking time to help a newbie......God Bless our troops. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

0 degree satin black to be technical. PPG #9358 or Dupont #9895L. Don't know how that translates into spray cans. Don't use semi-gloss though (too shiny).
